Dozens of Clare residents have so far applied for the locals only pass at the Cliffs of Moher.
The initiative was introduced last month as a new pricing structure at the North Clare attraction of six euro per person, took effect.
Management at the Cliffs of Moher Visitor Experience say they have issued up to 80 passes so far and will be holding another information evening on the id scheme this Friday.
