The Cliffs of Moher are a step closer to being named one of the new 7 Natural Wonders of the World.
The North Clare tourist spot has made it through to the shortlist of 28 finalists.
The list was unveiled by a panel of experts in Switzerland this afternoon.

It will be 2011 before the final new 7 Wonders are announced – after an estimated one billion votes worldwide.
