Management at the Cliffs of Moher are advising against travelling to the North Clare attraction today due to the dangerously high winds.
The visitor centre has been closed to the public and a number of tour buses due at the world famous site have been cancelled due to the conditions.

Warning signs have been put in place warning patrons that the severe gusts pose a risk to those standing close to the exposed cliff face.
