The national school in Clonlara is re-opening this morning after measures have been put in place to restore the water supply there.
Scoil Senáin Naofa was forced to close on a temporary basis last Thursday, with almost 400 children being sent home.

Following several days of efforts by school Management, Clare County Council and Irish Water a temporary pump has been installed and the supply has been restored.
As a result, the children will return to school as normal this morning.
