Coastal conservation efforts and flood relief measures in Clare have received a financial boost .
Over 200 thousand euro has been allocated by the Office of Public Works to two seperate projects.
150 thousand euro has been earmarked for defence protection works on the Shannon Embankments while 75 thousand euro is being provided for the stabilisation of sand dunes at beaches in Quilty and Tromera.
