The Minister for Communications and Climate Change says he's willing to visit Moneypoint.
Denis Naughton was speaking during a Dáil discussion on the future of the West Clare power station in which its importance to the area was emphasised by speakers, including Clare Independent TD Michael Harty.

Questions surround the future of the coal-burning plant and the Government's recent White Paper on energy said that key decisions on its future of Moneypoint will be taken before 2020.
Cork South West TD Michael Collins suggested the power station be converted to biomass but Minister Naughton says that wouldn't be feasible.
