Communities throughout Clare are being urged to get involved in an inititiave aimed at keeping Clare's coast clean.
The Clean Coasts’ Big Beach Clean is taking place at beaches across the county, in a an effort to reduce maritime littering.

Last year 560,000 volunteer in 91 countries removed 7,257 tonnes of marine litter from the world's oceans.
