Almost 27 thousand euro in funding is being allocated to suport the work of local community and volundary organisations across Clare.
The funding, which has been allocated to Clare County Council for distribution over the coming weeks, forms part of a national expenditure package of €1.175 million announced by the Department for the Environment.
Welcoming the funding announcement Minister Killeen said the Clare Community Forum facilitates the involvement of community and voluntary organisations in local authority decision-making and is a actively involved in providing training and support for volunteers.
