A scheme which saw improvement works carried out on over 10 miles of local roads in Clare last year, is to be continued in 2014 after the government deemed it a success.
The Community Involvement Scheme sees local groups and residents pay for 20% of the cost of road repairs, or €137,000 here in 2013.
