A North Clare businesswoman is expressing concern about Clare’s capacity for overnight visitors.
It comes as a new initiative at the Cliffs of Moher will see coach operators obliged to offer an overnight stay option, as well as bring tourists coming to the Cliffs to other fee-paying attractions here.
But with just 37 hotels in Clare, the concern now is that the bed capacity isn’t here to cater for a surge in visitor numbers.
