Concern is being expressed about the level of sexual attacks on students attending Irish colleges.
Figures revealed to Cork City’s Joint Policing Committee this week reveals that three female first year students have been raped since the start of the term in recent weeks.
While in Galway, almost 50 students are said to have reported incidents of rape and sexual assault in the past six months alone.

Speaking on Clare FM’s Morning Focus, President of the NUI Galway Students Union Megan Reilly said it’s action that’s needed and not policies.
