Calls have been made for reduced charges at Clare's recycling centres, in order to curb illegal dumping.
Local representatives have expressed concern a the levels of illegal dumping along roadsides and over ditches, and Clare County Council admits the activity appears to have increased since the beginning of the year.

However, it's says it's not possible to reduce recycling charges, because of costs.
