Concern has been raised over what's described as the intimidation of Clare families by drug dealers.
Fianna Fail Councillor Pat McMahon says he's aware of a number cases where people have been attacked and property seriously damaged over debts owed to dealers.

It comes as the Head of the Clare Garda Division has expressed fears that members will struggle to cope with the level of crime in the county if additional resources aren't put into place.
