Work on the Crusheen/Gort by-pass is causing concern for motorists in the area due to the damage caused to existing roads.
Residents on the Clare side of the border are annoyed at the impact that extra potholes and dirty roads are having on their cars, due to the influx of heavy vehicles working on the site.

Tubber Councillor Michael Kelly says the next stage of the N18 by-pass is to be welcomed, but he wants Galway County Council to ensure that local side roads are brought back to their former standard as soon as possible.
