The government has been told that many Clare roads will remain in a bad state of repair following the big-freeze due to reduced funding.
Speaking in the Dail last night, Clare Fine Gael TD Pat Breen raised safety concerns about the county’s local roads, in light of this week’s road allocations.
Deputy Breen also hit out at his Clare Dail Colleague, Timmy Dooley over his claims that the opposition have been exagerating or scaremongering over the extent of damage caused by last months freezing conditions.
