Contacts have been sign for a new social housing scheme in Ennis, although it will be 2019 before residents move in.
The eight-unit scheme in Roslevan is funded by the Department of Housing.
The Council has said the houses will be designed to a high standard, and will compliment existing units in the area.

The project has previously been priced at 1.6 million euro.
