Clare’s Fine Gael Senator has told the Health Minister that the level of information being provided on the COVID-19 vaccination programme is not good enough.
Senator Martin Conway, his party’s Seanad Health spokesman, says people deserve to be given more details on the vaccine rollout, including on the number of vaccines delivered, and vaccine supplies that are on hand.
The government does issue daily statistics on the number of people vaccinated, with the 81,000 jabs administered last week falling well short of the targeted figure of 100,000.

But Senator Conway says more details need to be made available on a routine basis.
