The Coronation Street actor Bill Roache has been arrested on suspicion of an historical allegation of rape.
Lancashire Police say offences are alleged to have taken place in 1967 and involve a girl who was 15 years-old.

Sky’s crime correspondent Martin Brunt says the 81 year-old – who plays Ken Barlow in the soap – was arrested this morning at his home in Cheshire.
