The Clare County Manager has been appointed to the board of Shannon Airport.
Tom Coughlan joins Tony Brazil of Limerick Travel to fill the remaining positions on the newly independent Board set up to oversee the running of the airport and chaired by New Quay woman Rose Hynes.

Mr Coughlan’s appointment will be welcomed in Clare, given demands last year for a voice for Clare County Council to be part of the running of Shannon airport, and according to Ms. Hynes, his focus on regional development and promotion, will be a very positive addition to the board.
