Council asked to open up access to U.L

Clare County Council has been urged to open up access to the Clare side of the UL campus as a matter of urgency.

300 thousand euro has been granted to the Council as part of the Smarter Travel Funding Package, which forms part of the government’s jobs initiative.

The funds will be used to provide for improved walking and cycling infrastructure in Kilkee, Ennis, Killaloe, Lahinch, Kilrush and Shannon, but not to allow students access UL from County Clare.
