Clare County Council is calling on Iarnrod Éireann and Bus Éireann to improve disability access at Ennis Station.
Councillors say people who are unable to walk are being lifted onto buses as there aren't enough vehicles that can be lowered to accommodate a wheelchair.

They also want a lift to be constructed, to enable people to cross the tracks to the second rail platform with greater ease.
