Council Exhausted Every Avenue To Deal With Illegal Encampment On Kilrush Road – Colleran Molloy

An Ennis Fianna Fáil Councillor insists the council exhausted every avenue in their attempts to deal with an illegal encampment on the Kilrush road.

Councillor Clare Colleran Molloy says legal fees totaling nearly €200,000 have been expended by the council in attempts to force the residents to vacate the illegal dwelling.

The Ballybeg native informed Clare FM that the council have now taken extra judicial action to seek a committal to jail for the residents after they ignored a High Court order compelling them to leave the site.
