Clare County Council has approved measures to improve the traffic flow in and out of Clare’s biggest housing estate.
The improvement works at the Westbury Estate come in conjunction with the development of a new Lidl which has been granted planning permission at a site in the area.
Westbury has almost 1,000 houses but currently only has one, single lane exit for cars onto the main road.

Clonlara Independent Councillor Michael Begley says these works are of huge importance for the residents.
