Its hoped that stagged road closures in North Clare next month due to extensive upgrading works can be kept to a minimum.
Monies for the works on the N 85 and N67 were provided to Clare County Council under its allocation for 2011 and should significantly improve conditions on both routes –
However, the upgrading will result in significant traffic disruption for the duration on a number of routes including Kinvara to Bellharbour, Ballyvaughan to Bishops Quarter, and Maurices Mills to Ennistymon.
