Clare County Council has insisted that it is prepared for any potential weather crises, such as those encountered last winter.

This November will mark the first anniversary of the major flooding which hit Ennis and the South East of the County – that was followed up by sustained freezing weather at the beginning of 2010.
The Council says that while both of those events were highly unusual, it’s confident that it will be able to deal with any further weather-related issues.
