Clare County Council is providing emergency water supplies to residents in Ennis, Clarecastle, Quin and Shannon affected by frozen pipes again today.
Stand pipes will be at the health centre in Clarecastle Cappahard, The Gort Road Industrial Estate and the Cahercalla Estate in Ennis from 10- 2 and again tomorrow Christmas Day from 10 until noon.
Standpipes are also available from 10-2 both today and tomorrow at Gleann an Oir in Shannon and Ros Silin Ballycasey.
Elsewhere and a water tanker is being provided for Quin householders from 10 to 12
Meanwhile
The Water supply to the Kildysart Area and Cranny/Coolmeen Group Water Scheme will be restricted tonight from 8.00pm to 8.00am due to falling reservoir levels.
And the Council is also appealing to householders across the county to use water sparingly, not to leave taps running and is asking unaffected neighbours to help out where possible
