Clare County Councillors meet today to decide whether they will reduce the property tax here next year.

The local authority has been given permission to implement a maximum reduction of up to 15 per cent, if it wishes, after €10 million was paid for the charge in the county this year.
However, there are concerns that the Council's overall levels of funding for areas such as roads will be reduced next year.
