A Clare councillor is calling for additional driving routes to be added to the Wild Atlantic Way.
Fine Gael Cllr Paul Murphy says he'd like to see two new loops added on that would take in the Shannon Estuary and the towns and villages of mid Clare.

Cllr Murphy says he'd like to see tourists encouraged to take in more of the county than just the current designated driving route.
The idea has caused some concern amongst some West Clare councillors, but Cllr Muphy says he believes it would unlock the potential of the entire county.
