Clare County Council’s workforce has remained largely stable over the past three years.
Figures released to the Dáil by Minister Simon Coveney show there are 719 full-time equivalent workers with the local authority.
The number has increased marginally on the previous year, and by seven on 2014.

The workforce for Clare’s Council is 16th out of the 31 local authorities in Ireland, with Donegal, Galway, Kildare, Mayo, Tipperary and Wexford all having more workers.
