Clare households are being told they can save money and the environment by re-using some of their Christmas waste.
The county’s residents are being urged to look at the waste generated over recent days, to see what they themselves can re-use and what can be put forward for recycling
Christmas is generally a time where extra waste is generated in households, but Clare County Council’s Environmental Awareness Officer Joan Tarmey says it doesn’t all have to be thrown away.
