A 30-year-old man is to appear before Ennis District Court this morning, charged in connection with a serious crash in East Clare earlier this week.
A 60-year-old man from the Quin area remains in a serious condition at University Hospital Limerick following the incident which occurred at Knockadoon on the main Tulla to Scarriff road on Tuesday morning.

Gardaí have launched an appeal for information and are calling on anyone who may have witnessed the collision to contact them on 061 620540.
