Ennis is being strongly encouraged to avail of up to €40,000 in Government supports for COVID-related measures.
It’s one of 41 towns nationwide eligible to apply for the expanded Town and Village Renewal Scheme, with additional supports being made available under the July Stimulus package on top of the €15 million earmarked for the scheme for 2020.
Projects such as the creation of outdoor areas to accommodate safe social interaction areas and the enhancement of buildings to accommodate remote working are eligible for the scheme.

The closing date for applications is the 28th of August.
