The number of people being treated for COVID-19 at the region’s main hospital is continuing to fall.
37 people are being treated for the virus at University Hospital Limerick – down from 40 yesterday.
It’s the first time in over a month that UHL’s Covid patient numbers have not been the highest in the country, with St James’ in Dublin now treating 38 people for the virus.

Meanwhile, 48 people are waiting on trolleys in Dooradoyle according to the INMO – a drop from 71 yesterday.
