It’s suggested that the board of the Central Remedial Clinic wrote to the HSE telling them that top-up payments would be phased-out – but wouldn’t stop.
The claims come before CRC and Health Service representatives appear before an Oireachtas Committee to explain how private charitable funds were used to boost executive salaries.

It’s also reported that the HSE didn’t respond to the CRC’s letter about their plans to keep the top-up payments.
