11 assaults have been committed on Clare Gardai in the first nine months of 2021.
Figures released to the Oireachtas show at least 80 assaults have been documented on members of An Garda Siochana in this county since 2015.
14 assaults were committed on Gardai from this county last year, while 18 were registered back in 2016.

The 11 incidents registered so far this year is the second lowest number in Munster, behind only Kerry’s Garda Division which documented 10 assaults.
