Clare County Council is urging members of the public to avail of their property marking scheme, to crack down on thefts and burglaries.
The initiative sees high-tech laser etching used to physically mark the likes of phones, vehicles and other valuable items to discourage thieves from taking them.
Clare County Council will be running clinics for the public at Ennis Mart this Thursday, with another at the Newmarket-on-Fergus Show next Sunday, as they roll the scheme out county-wide.
