A Sixmilebridge Councillor insists that there's an onus on the local authority to play its part in solving Europe's migration crisis.
Clare County Council will purchase nine houses to accomodate Syrian refugee families in the county.

Six of those will be housed in Shannon and three in Sixmilebridge, with the cost of construction coming out of the council's social housing budget
Councillor John Crowe insists the Council is happy to help people in crisis, but thinks a special fund should be put in place to help pay for their relocation.
