It’s claimed the visit of Donald Trump to Clare next week highlights the need for ShannonDoc services to be restored in full in Kilrush.
As things stand, the out-of-hours medical service operates only on weekends, with Miltown Malbay now serving Kilrush, Ennistymon and their surrounding areas midweek.
However, the visit of the US President next week will see the N67 partially blocked, meaning access to Miltown will be impacted for the duration.
