Dáil Set To Pass Third Opposition Motion In Four Weeks

The Dáil is set to pass its third opposition motion in just four weeks today.

The government is not opposing a motion from Fianna Fáil calling for a taskforce to investigate the rising costs of motor insurance.

The Minister for Finance Michael Noonan, says a similar taskforce has already been set up within his department.

Last night he told the Dáil, that the taskforce could lead to permanent action to drive down insurance premiums.
