County Clare has a new first citizen.
Fianna Fail’s Pat Daly has been formally declared as the new mayor of Clare at Aras Chonte an Clar within the past hour.

The Ennis Councillor was nominated for the position by fellow party councillor PJ Kelly and secoded by Pat Mc Mahon.
He is taking over the chains of office from Pat Hayes.
