Dangerously high levels of radon have again been found in County Clare homes.
The Radiological Protection Institute of Ireland have identified one particular Ennis house with radiation levels equivalent to receiving nearly 2800 chest X-Rays per year.
Clare is particularly susceptible to the build of Radon Gas.
The RPII are encouraging homeowners and landlords across the county to get radon levels measured to reduce the risk of the gas responsible for up to 200 lung cancer deaths per year.
