Last month, Dublin District Court approved a €150k bail package for David Drumm following his extradition from Boston.

The DPP directed he be tried before judge and jury on 33 charges, which include forgery, false accounting and conspiracy to defraud.

He was sent forward for trial to the Dublin Circuit Criminal Court and is due to make his first appearance there this morning.

His case is listed as a “new mention” today.

Guilty pleas are accepted on the first mention date. If that doesn’t happen, the court will fix a date for arraignment when an accused is once again given an opportunity to enter a plea or seek a trial date.

Under his bail conditions, Mr. Drumm agreed to live at an address in Skerries, Co. Dublin and sign on twice daily at a local Garda station.
