The Taoiseach’s mother has passed away at the age of 93.

Eithne Kenny died this morning in Co. Mayo, surrounded by her family.
Originally from Co. Donegal, Eithne married the late deputy Henry Kenny and had four children including the current Taoiseach and Mayo County Councillor Henry Kenny Junior.
Her funeral arrangements will be announced later.
