The founder of supermacs will find out today whether Clare County Council will give him the go ahead to build a new service station on the M18.
Pat McDonagh's application includes a petrol station with drive through, dining area and children's play area – at Junction 12.

Mr McDonagh is one of two companies looking to build motorway service stations on the route.
The proposals were top of the agenda of a special meeting of Ennis Chamber of Commerce last night as business people outlined their concerns about the plans.
