Clare Councillors' decision to raise the Local Property Tax seems to be unpopular with the public.
A poll of nearly 300 visitors to the Clare FM website has found that four out of five voters opposed the Council's decision to remove the 15% cut from the annual bill.

The move raises 1.5 million euro which will be funnelled into local services, but only 19% of those who voted felt this was worth it.
The remaining voters were undecided.
