The number of COVID-19 patients being treated at University Hospital Limerick has fallen by over a third in the past week.
There are now 40 COVID patients in Dooradoyle, down from 63 a week ago.
Nine of those patients remain in intensive care.

The latest figures show there are 990 people being treated for the virus in Irish hospitals, the first time this number has fallen below 1,000 since January 7th.
