A report into ambulance waiting times has found that only a quarter of ambulances at Dooradoyle are cleared within a target time of 20 minutes.
The National Ambulance Service says paramedic teams spent an average of over 35 minutes waiting outside the hospital, while on 11% of occassions, this went to over an hour.

The figures for April show that ambulances at University Hospital Limerick spent the equivalent of nearly four weeks waiting to discharge patients at it's Emergency Department.
