An MEP has warned that former employees of Dell could lose money promised to them from the European Globalisation Fund if action is not taken to speed up it’s distribution.
Labour representative for ireland South Alan Kelly made the claim as the workers protested outside the office scheduled to distribute the funds in Limerick yesterday
The workers are dismayed by delays in releasing the 22.8 million euro, which should be used to help fund start-up businesses and re-training

However Alan Kelly says that if the funds are not accessed soon, they could be taken away altogether.
