Details have been unveiled of a 2.4 million euro investment which will see two-dozen new housing units come on stream here.
The funding had already been announced, but today the Council has confirmed that it will see 12 Clare units delivered by Focus Ireland, for young adults at risk of homelessness.

Clare Haven Services is to provide 7 units on the Kildysart Road in Ennis, to women who are at risk of homelessness due to alleged domestic violence, while the Kilkee Housing Association will construct six homes, that will allow 12 elderly and disabled people live independently.
Association Secretary Marina Keane says there's a big need for this type of accomodation in West Clare.
