A 32-year legal mystery over the death of a baby in Australia’s outback has come to an end.
A coroner has ruled a dingo did take Azaria Chamberlain near Ayers Rock in the 1980.

Her mother Linday was jailed for murder, despite an initial inquest which backed her explanation that the baby was snatched by a dingo, Australia’s native wild dog.
The case has split national opinion for decades and was turned into a Hollywood film starring Oscar-winning actress Meryl Streep.
As she handed down her historic ruling, even Coroner Elizabeth Morris was moved.
